Gambling carries financial risk. It should always be a form of entertainment — never a way to earn income or recover losses. If gambling is affecting your finances, relationships or mental wellbeing, please read this page carefully and use the tools available to you. Adults 18+ only, or the higher minimum required by the operator/license jurisdiction. Local laws in Pakistan may restrict gambling activity — users are solely responsible for compliance.

The Basics

What Is Responsible Gambling?

Responsible gambling means making informed, deliberate choices about if, when and how much you gamble — and being honest with yourself about whether it remains enjoyable. CT66 supports responsible gambling as the foundation of a sustainable gaming environment.

Across Pakistan — from Karachi to Lahore, Islamabad to Faisalabad — online gaming is popular. The PSL season, ICC tournaments, football leagues and UFC events drive real excitement and engagement. CT66 wants you to enjoy those moments fully, with the confidence that comes from knowing exactly what you are spending and why.

Gambling problems can affect anyone, regardless of income, education or experience. The tools on this page are here for every CT66 user — not just those who feel they are in crisis. Using deposit limits or session timers is a sign of good sense, not weakness.

Healthy vs Harmful

Recognising the Difference

Healthy Gambling
  • You gamble only with money set aside for entertainment
  • You set a budget before you start and stick to it
  • Losing does not prompt you to chase your losses
  • You can stop playing whenever you choose
  • Gambling does not interfere with work, family or daily routines
  • You are not borrowing money to fund gambling
Warning Signs
  • You find yourself gambling to relieve stress or escape problems
  • You chase losses — betting more to recover what was lost
  • Gambling is taking more time or money than you planned
  • You are keeping your gambling activity secret from family
  • You are using savings, bills money or borrowing to fund play
  • You feel irritable or anxious when unable to gamble
If you recognise two or more warning signs above, please use CT66's self-exclusion tool immediately and seek support. You are not alone — many people experience gambling-related difficulties and there is help available.
Built-In Controls

CT66 Player Protection Tools

All tools below are available to every registered CT66 user at no cost. Access them any time from your account dashboard.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on the amount you deposit. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Reductions take effect immediately; increases require a mandatory cooling-off period before taking effect, giving you time to reconsider.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum net loss you are willing to accept over a daily, weekly or monthly period. When the limit is reached, you are automatically prevented from placing further bets for that period. This tool directly addresses loss-chasing behaviour before it escalates.

Session Time Alerts

It is easy to lose track of time during live PSL or ICC match betting. CT66 lets you set session duration alerts that notify you after a defined period of continuous play — helping you take regular breaks and maintain perspective on how long you have been active.

Cool-Off Period

If you need a short break without committing to full self-exclusion, a cool-off period temporarily restricts your access for a period of your choosing — from 24 hours up to several weeks. During this time your account remains active but gameplay is disabled. This is reversible after the period ends.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion closes your CT66 account for a defined minimum period of six months, or permanently. During self-exclusion, your account cannot be reopened early and all marketing communications are suspended. This is the most powerful tool available and CT66 enforces it fully. Request self-exclusion by contacting our support team at any time.

Reality Checks

Enable periodic in-session reality check pop-ups that display your current session duration, net wins or losses since you last logged in, and a reminder of your active limits. You can configure the frequency — from every 15 minutes to hourly — keeping you grounded throughout your session.

Quick Reference

Limits at a Glance

The table below summarises each limit type, the periods available and how quickly changes take effect. Remember: reducing a limit always takes effect immediately — increases involve a cooling-off delay to protect you.

Limit Type Periods Takes Effect
Deposit Limit Daily / Weekly / Monthly Instantly (decrease)
Loss Limit Daily / Weekly / Monthly Instantly (decrease)
Session Time Alert 15 min / 30 min / 1 hr / Custom Next Session
Reality Check 15 min / 30 min / 60 min Current Session
Cool-Off Period 24 hrs / 48 hrs / 7 days / Custom Instantly
Self-Exclusion 6 months / 1 yr / 5 yr / Permanent Instantly & Irrevocable
Exact timelines for limit increases may vary. CT66 applies a mandatory review delay to protect users from increasing limits impulsively during active sessions.
Step by Step

How to Set Your Limits

Setting responsible gambling controls on CT66 takes less than two minutes. Follow these steps from within your account:

01

Log In to Your Account

Access your CT66 account from any device — mobile, tablet or desktop. All responsible gambling tools are available across all device types.

02

Go to Account Settings

Click your username or avatar in the top-right corner to open the account menu. Select "Responsible Gambling" or "Player Protection" from the dropdown.

03

Select Your Limit Type

Choose from Deposit Limit, Loss Limit, Session Alert, Cool-Off or Self-Exclusion. Each section displays your current settings and lets you set or modify values.

04

Enter Your Value and Confirm

Enter the PKR amount or time duration that reflects your personal budget. Confirm your selection — decreases apply immediately; increases trigger a review delay.

05

Review Regularly

CT66 recommends reviewing your limits monthly or before each major sporting event. Life circumstances change — your limits should reflect your current reality.

Serious Help

Self-Exclusion — The Full Picture

Self-exclusion is the strongest responsible gambling tool CT66 offers. When you self-exclude, your account is immediately closed for the period you choose — and it cannot be reopened until that period has fully expired, with no exceptions.

During any self-exclusion period, CT66 will:

  • Immediately block access to your account and all gaming features;
  • Suspend all marketing, promotional and bonus communications;
  • Refund any withdrawable real-money balance (excluding active bonuses) to your verified payment method;
  • Retain your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements;
  • Not attempt to re-engage you through special offers or reactivation prompts for the duration of the exclusion.

Permanent self-exclusion is an irreversible decision. Once a permanent exclusion is confirmed, CT66 will not accept any future registration application from the same individual. This option is available for users who believe indefinite abstinence is the right choice.

To request self-exclusion, contact our support team directly by email or live chat. You do not need to give any reason and there is no judgement — your request will be acted on immediately.

If you are in financial distress, experiencing mental health difficulties or in crisis: please contact a trusted person in your life and seek professional support before continuing to gamble. Gambling is not a solution to financial problems.
Self-Assessment: Are You in Control?
Honestly consider each question below. If you answer "yes" to two or more, we strongly recommend activating responsible gambling tools or contacting support.
Q 01 Have you ever spent more on gambling than you originally planned for a single session?
Q 02 Have you tried to win back money you have lost through further gambling?
Q 03 Has gambling ever caused you to neglect work, family or personal responsibilities?
Q 04 Have you ever borrowed money or sold something to fund gambling?
Q 05 Do you feel anxious, restless or irritable when you are unable to gamble?
Q 06 Have you tried to cut back on gambling but found it difficult to do so?
Q 07 Have you hidden your gambling activity from friends or family members?
Q 08 Do you think about gambling frequently, even when doing other activities?
This is not a clinical diagnostic tool. If your answers concern you, please use CT66's self-exclusion tool and seek professional support. See the Support Resources section below.
Age Policy

Protecting Minors — 18+ Strictly Enforced

Underage gambling is a serious issue. CT66 takes every available precaution to prevent access by minors and enforces its age policy without exception.

Mandatory KYC

All CT66 users must complete identity and age verification (KYC) before withdrawals are processed. Acceptable documents include a Pakistani CNIC, passport or driving licence. Accounts where age cannot be confirmed are suspended immediately.

Parental Controls

If you share a device with children or younger family members, use your device's parental control software or built-in screen-time management features to prevent access to gambling websites. Do not leave your CT66 account logged in on a shared device.

Report Suspected Underage Access

If you believe a minor has accessed CT66 — whether a family member or otherwise — contact our support team immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate and act promptly.

18+ Legal Notice

The minimum age to use CT66 is 18 years, or the higher minimum required by the operator/license jurisdiction. This restriction does not imply that gambling is lawful for all adults in Pakistan. Local laws govern legality and users are solely responsible for compliance.

Talk to Someone You Trust

Sometimes the most important step is simply having an honest conversation with a family member, friend or colleague. If gambling is affecting your daily life in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or anywhere else in Pakistan, speaking openly with someone close to you can be the first step toward regaining control.

Professional Counselling

Mental health professionals and counsellors in Pakistan can provide structured support for behavioural issues including problem gambling. If gambling-related anxiety, depression or financial stress is affecting your life, consulting a qualified mental health professional is strongly recommended.

Gambling Awareness Resources

International responsible gambling organisations publish self-help resources, self-assessment tools and treatment directories that are accessible from Pakistan. CT66 recommends seeking out recognised bodies in the operator's license jurisdiction for accredited guidance and support programmes.

Financial Counselling

If gambling has created financial difficulty, speaking with a qualified financial counsellor or a bank adviser can help you understand your options for managing debt, rebuilding savings and protecting essential expenses. Many Pakistani banks offer financial guidance services — contact your own bank as a first step.

Peer Support Groups

Peer support groups — in-person and online — connect individuals recovering from gambling-related issues. Sharing experiences with others who have faced similar challenges can be a valuable complement to professional support, offering accountability, empathy and practical coping strategies.

CT66 does not hold official partnerships with any third-party support organisations. All references to external support are provided as general guidance only. For formal clinical support, consult a qualified medical or mental health professional in your location.
Practical Tips

Staying in Control — Everyday Habits

Responsible gambling is not just about crisis management — it is about building good habits from the start. Here are practical guidelines for every CT66 user:

  • Budget before you play. Decide in advance how much PKR you are comfortable spending, treat it as an entertainment cost and do not exceed it.
  • Never chase losses. If your session balance goes negative, accept it and walk away. Continuing to bet to recover losses is the most common trigger for problem gambling.
  • Set a time limit. Decide how long you will play before you start — and stick to it, whether or not you are winning.
  • Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen every 30–60 minutes. Use CT66's session alerts to remind you.
  • Do not gamble when stressed or emotional. Making betting decisions during PSL excitement, financial pressure or personal stress leads to impulsive choices you may regret.
  • Keep gambling separate from other life goals. Gambling winnings are not a financial plan. Do not rely on CT66 to supplement income or achieve savings goals.
  • Be honest with yourself. Regularly ask yourself whether gambling is still fun and whether it is within the limits you planned. If the answer is no, take action immediately.
